Engineered for structural support and high-load applications, our high density closed cell foam (typically 200–600 kg/m³) offers compressive strength comparable to wood but at a fraction of the weight, making it suitable for marine stringer systems, automotive structural inserts, and industrial jigs. The dense cell network provides excellent screw retention and can be machined, routed, or thermoformed without delamination. Unlike solid plastics, this foam dampens vibration and sound, which is why it is used in die-cutting press pads and anvil covers. Our formulation allows for the addition of flame retardants or conductive fillers without degrading the closed-cell integrity, enabling use in aerospace tooling or explosive environments. We provide this material in thick boards (up to 100mm) for CNC machining into custom shapes, as well as in thinner sheets for lamination to composite panels.
