WEFOAM produces a synthetic teak decking sheet that is used to replace teak in various marine applications. EVA foam is much lighter than teak and it will not rot like teak. EVA foam will not require the sanding and oiling that real teak requires. Teak contains a lot of oils and as the oils evaporate, the teak will dry out and crack. EVA foam will not experience this. Like real teak, EVA foam teak decking is brushed to give it a teak look and to provide a non-skid surface. This decking is self-adhesive and can be applied to different areas of a boat. The decking is also closed-cell, which provides a cushion and a barricade to outside sounds. Thisdecking is also compliant with the IMO/SOLAS regulations and other international marine environment and safety regulations.
